A Designer / Maker based at Blackhorse Workshop in London, though sometimes you’ll find her making in the South-East where she grew up. A lover of textiles, leather, ceramics and second-hand junk - though mostly the junk part. With little to no experience in making, designing or drawing, she sought a new hobby to fill an evening or two with but threw herself in head-first into a BA (hons) in Furniture Making and Product Design instead. Having graduated from The Cass School of Design in 2015, Lua’s affection for wood and design is still going strong.

Lua earns her crust working on bespoke furniture commissions for the domestic and contract market, but you’ll also find her teaching Spoon Carving as well as the Modular Oak Unit course at Blackhorse Workshop, as well as small group private courses. She also juggles her time prototyping, developing and producing products. Lua’s own furniture range is in the pipeline – so watch this space.

But most of all she loves a wood pun.
